Within is a mobile journaling and emotional tracking application developed and published by Code Noor.

2. How the app works

Within primarily operates using local storage on the user’s device. The information you enter remains stored on your phone and is not transmitted to external servers.

3. Access to the service

The app is available through official app stores. Code Noor does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

4. Payments and subscriptions

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed exclusively by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Code Noor never has access to your payment or banking information.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service.

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, and features of the app are the exclusive property of Code Noor and are protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. Code Noor shall not be liable for any indirect damages, data loss, financial loss, or service interruption resulting from the use of the app.

8. Non-medical disclaimer

Within is a wellness and self-reflection tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical or psychological advice.

9. Changes

These Terms may be updated at any time.

10. Data responsibility

Because all data are stored locally on your device, you are responsible for keeping backups. Uninstalling the app or resetting your device may permanently delete your data. Code Noor cannot recover lost data.

11. Restoring purchases

The “Restore purchases” feature only recovers items linked to your store account (App Store or Google Play), such as your Caretaker status (active subscription) and purchased themes.

Your personal content (journal entries, thoughts, garden data, flowers, etc.) is not restored. All information is stored locally on your device and is never synced to our servers.

Deleting the app or losing your device may permanently erase this data. We recommend keeping regular backups.

Code Noor does not have access to this information and cannot view, save, or recover it.

12. Age requirement

The app is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under the legal age in your country, you must use the app with parental consent.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law.
